Biography

Hi, I’m Emma! Co-owner of Mama Jan’s Tattoo Parlor, tattooer, and mom! Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started my tattoo journey when I was just 14 years old, and over the years it’s grown into a career that’s given me the chance to meet incredible people and tell their stories through tattooing. I’ve been fortunate enough to work in all kinds of styles—from fine line and delicate florals to bold traditional pieces—and I’ve never wanted to fit into just one lane. Every tattoo is different because every person who sits in my chair is different. Opening Mama Jan’s with my fiancé feels like the perfect next chapter. What started as two people brought together by tattooing has grown into a family, a shared dream, and now a shop we get to call our own. We built Mama Jan’s to feel like home—a place rooted in tradition, community, and tattoos made to last a lifetime. Whether you’re looking for your first tattoo or adding to a collection that’s been years in the making, I’m honored every time someone trusts me with a piece of their story.
